The Bar-tender's Guide/Medford Rum Punch

Medford Rum Punch.
(Use large bar-glass.)
- Take 1 table-spoonful of powdered white sugar dissolved in a little water.
- Take 1½ glass of Medford rum.
- Take 1 pony-glass of Jamaica rum.
- Take 2 or 3 dashes of lemon juice.
- Take 1 slice of orange (cut in quarters).
Fill the tumbler with ice, shake well, and dress the top with sliced lime and berries in season. Serve with a straw.
