Rent Collector Held For Fraud. Arthur Freudenberg, formerly realty operator with offices at the Transfer Station, Union City, was held in $1,000 bail for the grand on charge of collecting rents by fraud, when arraigned in Bayonne Police Court yesterday before Recorder Cain. Freudenberg's arrest was on complaint of Mrs. Sophie Wilczek, of 96 Prospect avenue. She claimed he had obtained an assignment of the rents of an apartment house at 538 Madison street, West New York, by fraud. She said when she went to collect the rents she was told by tenants that Freudenberg had already collected in many instances.
