Funeral services will be held Monday for Anthony Julius Winblad, 88, of 66-442 Desert View Avenue, Desert Hot Springs, who died Thursday following a long illness. A native of New York, he had been a Desert Hot Springs resident of 15 years. He had been a resident of California for 25 years. He is survived by three sons, Norman Winblad of Baldwin Park; Earl Winblad of Carson, and Russell Staderman of Buffalo, New York; 12 grandchildren and 14-grandchildren. Winblad was a retired plumber for the U.S. Naval Shipyard on Terminal Island. Services will be held at 9 a.m. in the Desert Mortuary Chapel under the direction of George Hilla, senior warden, and Edward Gray, chaplain of the Palm Springs Masonic Temple. Burial will be in Desert Memorial Park.
