Ramarayanimgar, Hon’ble Panuganti, M.A., Madras; belongs to a respectable Velama family closely allied to the Raja of Kalahasti; educ: Anglo-Vernacular High School (now the Hindu High School), Triplicane, and the Presidency College, Madras; passed B.A., 1889; M.A., 1902; actively connected with public movements of the day; keenly interested in the cause of education and particularly of the Telugu Literature; Honorary Fellow, Madras University; Member of the Telugu Academy, Madras; represents the Madras Landholders in the Supreme Legislative Council; President, 3rd Andhra Conference held at Vizagapatam, 1915.
