Rudrapratap Sah, Raja; b. 1860; succeeded to title, 1867; has done much to revive Indian Theology and Indian arts and industries; maintains an Ayurvedic Hospital; member, first Public Services Commission; estate comprises 105 villages in Sultanpur, 68 in Fyzabad, 8 in Rae Bareli and 1 in Jaunpur; title of Raja recognised as hereditary, 1877.
