Leona Veronica Patterson (1892-1963) in The Press of Atlantic City on March 28, 1963. In all other documents her name was listed as her maiden name "Leona Patterson" or her married name "Leona Hammelbacher".

Mrs. Hammelbacher

Hammonton, New Jersey. Mrs. Leonora Hammelbacher [sic] of 221 Grape Street, a resident here three years and formerly a resident of Egg Harbor City 30 years, died in Newcomb Hospital, Vineland, Tuesday after a short illness. She was 70. Mrs. Hammelbacher was a retired mirror polisher for the Nurre Mirror Co. of Egg Harbor City. She was a member of the Egg Harbor City unit of Deborah. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Bartolone of this city; three sons, John, present address unknown, Richard of Glen Riddle, Pennsylvania, and Robert, with the U.S. Navy at Portsmouth, Virginia, and grandchildren. A high Mass of requiem sung in St. Joseph's RC Church. Saturday at 9 a.m., with the Rev. Jerome B. Prisco of St. Martin de Porres Parish as celebrant. Burial will be in a local cemetery.
