אחד הנכנס לעזרה, ואחד הנכנס לתוספת העזרה.

שאין מוסיפין על העיר ועל העזרות

אלא במלך ונביא ובאורים ותומים ובסנהדרין של שבעים ואחד,

ובשתי תודות, ובשיר;

ובית דין מהלכין, ושתי תודות אחריהן –

הפנימית נאכלת, והחיצונה נשרפת.

כל שלא נעשה בכל אלו –

הנכנס לשם אין חייבין עליו.

English Translation

It is the same for one who enters the Courtyard, and for one who enters an annex to the Courtyard.

For we do not add an annex to the City [of Jerusalem] or to the Courtyards

Except with a king, a prophet, with the Lights and Truths, with a Sanhedrin of Seventy-One,

and with two thank-offerings, and with song;

And the Court on procession, and [the] two thank-offerings behind them –

The inner one is eaten, and the outer one is burnt.

Any [annex] which is not made with all these –

One who enters there is not liable for it.
