Translation:Qolasta/Oxford Collection/Part 1/Prayer 8
- VIII.
- In the name of life,
- let healing be given to the NN through this Sunday prayer.
- On the light of the ether I stand
- and on the great light with its victories.
- I am Mandā d-Haijē,
- the son of the planting of the mighty, first life.
- I called the praised Sunday,
- the pure guardian of the light that illuminates the Uthras,
- and I said to him:
- "Up, go, descend to the earth Tibil,
- to this world which is all birth,
- to those of tried righteousness,
- the men formed of flesh and blood,
- grasp them with your grasp,
- be firm with them,
- stand by them, take heed to them,
- and grant them strength and firmness,
- that they may stand and worship
- and praise the mighty alien life."
- Then Sunday replied and said to Mandā d-Haijē:
- "How can you send me to this world,
- which is all birth,
- to the men of tried righteousness,
- formed of flesh and blood,
- who do not honor me,
- rather despise me
- do not hold me in great honor,
- and do not remit my sins and offenses?"
- Then Mandā d-Haijē replied and said to Sunday,
- "Get up, go, descend to the earth Tibil,
- to this world which is all birth,
- to the men of tried righteousness
- who are formed of flesh and blood,
- grasp them with your grasp,
- be firm with them,
- stand by them
- and take heed.
- Turn away and keep away from them
- the seven planets,
- they together with their demons, Dēws,
- amulet spirits and evil creations.
- Then they will remit your sins and transgressions,
- hold you in great honor,
- and victoriousness will be with you."
- Then Mandā d-Haijē turned to the men of proven righteousness and said to them:
- "Pay attention to Sunday, the enlightener,
- whom I have sent to you,
- that he may enlighten you, strengthen you, upright you,
- and bring you prayer and praise.
- Forgive him his sins and transgressions
- and hold him in great honor".
- Furthermore, Mandā d-Haijē declared, revealed, and said:
- "Anyone who does not remit his sins and transgressions to the Sunday
- and does not hold it in great honor,
- has no throne among the Uthras
- and does not behold the great face of glory.
- For Sunday is dearer, greater, more beautiful
- and more enlightened than all the Uthras."
- Blessed and praised be Manda d-Haijē and the Strengthener.
- Life is victorious over all works.
