Prayer of the turban

Mark Lidzbarski3807019Mandaïsche Liturgien — Prayer 51920Wikisource
V.
In the name of life.

It shone the light,
it shone the light,
it shone the light of the great first life.
It shone the wisdom and enlightenment,
the insight and the praise of the first Mānā
who had come out of his place.

The winder of the wreath was Jōfin-Jōfafin.
The bearer of the wreath was Īth-Enṣībath-Uthrē.
The erector of the wreath was Īth-Jāwar, the son of Enṣībath-Uthrē.

He brought it and erected it on the head of the created (planted) Mānā,
who had been created (planted) by the well-kept Mānās.
The wreath flames and the tendrils of the wreath flame.

In front of the Mānā is light,
behind the Mānā is honor,
the two sides of the Mānā are splendor, radiance and victoriousness.

Above the 4 corners of the house
and above the 7 sides of the firmament
are silence, tranquility and splendor.

And praise be to life.
