LXXIX.
In the name of the great life.
When the myrtle,
the myrtle was resplendent in the gardens of Hibil,
when the Origanum was in the quarters of the Mandā,
they gave me two branches of the myrtle
and wove therefrom a wreath for the Jordan,
which is wondrous
and whose fragrance is sweet.

Commentary

[edit]
Read this song
and wind the myrtle wreath for your olive staff,
then read the song for Jordan,
"Hear me, my Father, hear me".
