XCVI.
Provided, well provided I am,
the Uthras of light have provided me.
I am provided,
the life has provided me,
I am well provided for,
the Uthras of light have provided for me.
They provided me with the travel nourishment of the Kuštā,
they equipped me with all their wisdom.
Because of what was Ptahil,
why did he create the world?
Why did the plan come into being
and did they take me out of my place?
They sent me to the world of impulses,
which is all full of knots and seals.
It is all full of fire,
sowed with thorns and thistles.
It is all full of deceit,
full of deceit and lies.
The planets that dwell in it
daily plot evil against me.
They plot evil against me and say:
We want to make his sense ambivalent.
From my heart, which is filled with Kuštā, they say:
we want to make it stumble from us.
Of my eyes that look up to the light, they say:
let them give (unchaste) winks.
Of my mouth that praises life, they say:
let it speak lies.
Of my hands that give alms (and offer Kuštā), they say:
they shall murder.
Of my knees that bow down to life, they say:
they shall bow down to the 7.
Of my feet that walk the paths of the Kuštā (and faith), they say:
they shall walk barefoot.
I lifted up my eyes to the height,
with my soul I hoped for the house of life.
When life heard my call,
it sent a companion to meet me.
The attendant who came to meet me
brought me a splendid robe.
He revealed splendor and showed it to me,
and I laid down the stinking body.
He took me by the flat of my right hand
and led me across the streams of water.
Over the water streams he led me,
he guided me and supported me on the image of life.
The life supported the life,
the life found its own.
Life found its own,
and my soul found what it hoped for.
Life is upheld and is victorious,
and victorious is the man who went here.
