165: Law of one who does his needs and wants to eat.

1 One who does his needs and wants to eat should wash 2 times. On the first, he recites the blessing "...Who created...". And on the second, he recites the blessing "...on washing the hands." And if he only wants to wash one time – after he poured one time on his hands and rubbed, he should recite the blessing "...Who created..."; and afterwards, during the time of drying, he should recite the blessing "...on washing the hands."

2 If many are reclining at a meal, the most important one washes his hands first.

And Rabbi Asher was accustomed to wash last so as not to interrupt and so as not to speak.
