ESTABLISHED AND PURPCSES THEREOF

TRANSFER OF FINGER PRINT SECTION OF
CRIMINAL DEPARTMENT OF BUREAU OF
JUSTICE TO POLICE BUREAU


EFFECTIVE DATE


SECTION Ⅰ The Department of Criminal Investigation is hereby established in the police bureau of the Government of Korea to perform the following functions:
a. Conducting investigations of criminal maiters which ate referred to it by Military Government
b. Assisting and cooperating with the Military Police, Counter Intelligence Corps and the Police of Korea, when requested, in the investigation and apprehension of criminals.
c. Establishing and maintaining a National Finger Print Record and Criminal Investigation System.
SECTION Ⅱ All duties, functions, records, property, and civilian personnel of the Finger Print Section of the Criminal Department of the Bureau of Justice are hereby transferred to the Bureau of Police
SECTION Ⅲ This order is effective 30 October 1945
