Chap. XXV.—An Act allowing an additional compensation to the judges of the Mississippi, Indiana, Michigan and Louisiana Territories.
Compensation to the judges of Mississippi, Indiana, Michigan, and Louisiana territory.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That each of the judges of the Mississippi, Indiana, Michigan and Louisiana territories, appointed under the authority of the United States, be entitled to the annual sum of twelve hundred dollars, in lieu of his present compensation, to commence on the first day of January last.
