Chap. XLV.—An Act making compensation for extra services, to the governor, judges and secretary of the Indiana territory.
Compensation for extra services.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he hereby is directed to pay to the governor, judges and secretary of the Indiana territory, out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated, the sum of three hundred dollars each, as a compensation for the extra services by them performed, in obedience to the act, intituled “An act erecting Louisiana into two territories, and providing for the temporary government thereof.”1804, ch. 38.
