Act of May 4, 1812, ch. 75.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the act, entitled “An act to incorporate the inhabitants of the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia,” and the act supplementary to the same, passed on the twenty-fourth of February, in the year one thousand eight hundred and four, and the act, entitled “An act further to amend the charter of the city of Washington,” be, and the same are hereby, extended to the third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-one, unless sooner repealed.
