Chap. XLVI.An Act for the relief of P. C. L’Enfant.

For laying out plan of Washington city.Be it enacted, &c., That the Secretary of the Treasury be authorized and directed to pay to P. C. L’Enfant, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of six hundred and sixty-six dollars and two thirds, with legal interest from the first day of March, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-two, as a compensation for his services in laying out the plan of the city of Washington.
