Chap. XLVII.—An act for the relief of George Lyon.
Clerk to be paid.Be it enacted, &c., That the proper officers of the Treasury Department be, and they are hereby authorized and required to pay to George Lyon, a clerk in the Patent Office, a compensation at the rate of five hundred dollars per annum, from the time his salary was discontinued until the end of the present year, to be paid out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
