Chap. LVII.—An Act for the relief of Edward Hallowell.
May avail himself of the provisions of act of Jan. 2, 1813, ch. 7.Be it enacted, &c., That Edward Hallowell, of the city of Philadelphia, who imported into the district of Wilmington, certain goods, wares and merchandise, from the port of Liverpool, which goods were put on board the ship Tiber, William Porter, master, on the fifth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and twelve, shall be entitled to, and may avail himself of, all the benefits, privileges, and provisions, of the act, entitled “An act directing the Secretary of the Treasury to remit fines, forfeitures and penalties, in certain cases,” passed, on the second day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, in like manner and on the same conditions, as though the said vessel had departed from the kingdom of Great Britain between the twenty-third day of June, and the fifteenth day of September, mentioned in such act.
