Chap. XXXIV.An Act for the relief of Theodosius Fowler.

Suit against Theodosius Fowler to be discontinued.Be it enacted, &c., That the comptroller of the treasury be, and he is hereby authorized and required to cause to be discontinued the suit now pending in the circuit court of the district of New York, in the name of the United States, against Theodosius Fowler, for moneys charged to him on the books of the treasury as advanced or paid on account or in consequence of a contract entered into by him with the Secretary of the Treasury on the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand seven hundred and ninety, and that the said Theodosius Fowler be, and hereby is, discharged from the said demand.
