Larger template

[edit]

Heads up that edits like this misuse {{larger}}: these are just standard capital letters. Thanks. —Justin (koavf)TCM 15:05, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop making working for other contributors..

[edit]

I would strongly suggest taking a break, and looking how other contributors have formatted pages. That way you will be able to format them so the entire work remains consistent, and saves other contributors from having to revert or amend you efforts. Stop and discuss..

[edit]

You were asked previously, PLEASE take the time to consider how others are formatting works you are working on. Also do not mark pages as proofread if they still contain issues to be dealt with like accented characters. Thanks.

If you need help with formatting or proofreading, please let me know. I am a pretty experienced user (tho not quite as well versed as ShakespearFan00) and would be happy to collaborate. —Justin (koavf)TCM 14:40, 18 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello,
I am new to this and have just seen this messages @ShakespeareFan00 and @Koavf. I'd appreciate any support you can render ALPHATMINJO (talk) 08:58, 26 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Have a look at the reformatting I did on some of the pages you helped transcribe. In general :
  • Slow down a bit, and check your transcription mathces the text you are transcribing.
  • Don't indent paragrpahs.
  • Try to match the formatting, other users contribute. If there seems to be a pattern they are using query it with them.
  • See {{rvh}} and {{rh}} for help with running headers and so-termed 'leaf signature'. I am willing to answer further questions on the approach I took. Leaf signatures aren't essential to transcribe though.

SF00 covered a lot, but if you have any particular questions or need help on a specific thing, let me know. Happy to have you around. Also, have you been editing from multiple accounts or just this one? —Justin (koavf)TCM 10:22, 26 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
