Again, welcome! Beeswaxcandle (talk) 22:00, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

@Beeswaxcandle:, thank you. I just came from enwiki (where I was blocked en:User:AnotherEditor144), so I have decided to come to Wikisource to make good-faith edits. I also found some pages that need to be transcribed: Index:Victor_Hugo_-_The_Hunchback_of_Notre-Dame_(tr._Shoberl,_1833).djvu Regards, AnotherEditor144 (talk) 08:03, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Template Find sources ??

Ah, this is Wikisource. We don't need to find sources—we are the source, which is why we haven't ported that template/module before. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 08:55, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

@Beeswaxcandle: I understand your confusion. It was part of the now-deleted Template:Talk header. -- AnotherEditor144 t - c 08:57, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Wikivoyage: Welcome to Wikivoyage!

Hello AnotherEditor144! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!--Ypsilon (talk) 16:15, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

Footnotes and citations

Hi, AnotherEditor144. I'm confused by why you're copy-pasting templates about footnotes and citations from Wikipedia. First, please read voy:Wikivoyage:Using MediaWiki templates, especially the "New MediaWiki template proposals" section, as Wikivoyage, unlike Wikipedia, uses a minimum of templates. But second, we do not use footnotes or encyclopedia-style citations on this site (you should still cite sources you summarize or paraphrase from, including Wikipedia articles, in your edit summaries, though). I think it would be helpful for you to read the welcome, Wikipedians page and goals and non-goals to better understand the differences between this travel guide and the online encyclopedia that's our sister site. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:49, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

@Ikan Kekek:, there was a missing template on wv:Talk:Wu phrasebook. I was trying to make the documentation work, but it only introduced more problems. AnotherEditor144 (talk) 07:54, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
I see. Oh well. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:56, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
@Ikan Kekek:, you saw the problems, didn't you? I've seen you at Wu phrasebook before as well. AnotherEditor144 (talk) 08:58, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Sure I did, but I don't know enough about templates to recognize which template is causing which problem. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:11, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Ikan Kekek, who knows enough about templates, then? AnotherEditor144 (talk) 09:13, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
There are some technically knowledgeable people here. I think Granger could probably help. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:16, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
You could always inquire at the Travellers' pub, too. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:17, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Ikan Kekek, thank you. Next time, please ask at my Wikisource user page: I am more active there. See you later! AnotherEditor144 (talk) 09:31, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
OK, I'll try to remember that. See you! Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:33, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
I've tidied up the formatting at wv:Talk:Wu phrasebook by removing the footnote templates. —Granger (talk · contribs) 13:59, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for helping out. Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:29, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
