Thank you! I've used this project on multiple occasions -- it's a magnificent resource -- but am yet to contribute. I would love to though. Only so many minutes in the day ... All the best, Antandrus (talk) 02:59, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

User pages

It is considered very bad form for a User to edit the User space pages of another User. Your claim that the User is globally banned is not supported by a quick check, nor is this a reason to blank their pages. --EncycloPetey (talk) 01:16, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I clean up after a globally banned editor who makes legions of new sockpuppets every few days. The user page I emptied was one (it contains links to sites that are used for attacks and harassment on editors on Wikimedia projects). The vandals on this very page are the same person. He got out of jail about a year ago and has started up his harassment against many of us again -- mainly sysops on en: but also on other projects. Antandrus (talk) 02:09, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
You can request WS:DEL if you can provide a rationale within Wikisource policy, and evidence that this account is associated with an issue listed at Meta. But when I checked your link, I could see no connection at all. Or you can make a request at Meta for some action. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:12, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I have already done that. I've been adding more of these every few days. Antandrus (talk) 02:15, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I see now that that sockpuppet is ten years old. If you really want the links to hate pages here, fine. He's unlikely ever to edit again using that account. He has hundreds. Sometimes cleaning them up seems like a waste of time. Maybe it is. Antandrus (talk) 02:21, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
