Your new contributions
[edit]All new works contributed here require a header template. They must also have a source (on the Talk page—there's a template for that) and a license template that shows why we can host them. Not complying with these requirements will result in the works being deleted. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 17:53, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
Copyright
[edit]Please stop adding copyright works. Ms. Shakir's works are copyright in Pakistan until 2044. Any published translations of them remain in copyright until the later of 2044 or the year of death of the translator plus 50 years. If you persist in adding such works, you will be blocked from editing here. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 08:48, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- sorry it was not in my knowledge...I will follow your directions... Eassapk (talk) 08:50, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
Are you aware of any works by this author where there are English translations which are in the public domain ? -- Beardo (talk) 21:03, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
The text that you have placed on that page seems to be copied from wikipedia. That is not how wikisource works - wikisource is intended to have copies of works published separately to act as a source.
Works held externally to the wikimedia family of sites are best uploaded to Wikimedia Commons (if the work is out of copyright in both the US and the home country), and then linked from wikisource. -- Beardo (talk) 21:39, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
