What is the copyright status of this ? -- Beardo (talk) 14:30, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
- The original (https://irp.fas.org/world/para/docs/hamas-2017.pdf I believe) does not have any "copyright" word or copyright symbol. My guess is Hamas doesn't want any copyright restrictions on it, anyway. And considering they aren't recognized by any government (to my knowledge) who are signatories to international intellectual property agreements, I would think it doesn't really matter. But who knows how intellectual property law works for such cases. Em3rgent0rdr (talk) 00:30, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- We cannot work on guesses, we need to have an evidence base, and a legitimate, reliable source. If we cannot, then we will need to remove the work per WS:WWI — billinghurst sDrewth 07:05, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Ok. I can't seem to find info about the actual copyright, so sounds like it will have to be deleted. But, I actually don't know how to properly delete the page. When I try to do an edit to replace the contents with nothing, I get red text that says "This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. What to do? If you believe your action was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do by leaving a message at Wikisource:Administrators' noticeboard...". Since you are an administrator, I guess the ball is in your hands to delete it. Em3rgent0rdr (talk) 16:54, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
