Re indents

[edit]

If you are trying to have a leading indent to start a paragraph, generally we don't try to replicate those; it is just a typographical thing, rather than the intent/words of the author. We would generally just do a double hard return to give the space for a new paragraph. There are some indenting templates for the rarer occasions where needed and they can be found at Category:Formatting templates. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:13, 8 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your help, billinghurst! Hmm, too late to wish you Happy New Year 2014 (I spend most of my time on English WP and Commons).--FeralOink (talk) 14:26, 11 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Madame Rolland

[edit]

Hello, Thank you for validating this work. For quotation marks, it is recommended to use straight quotes (' and "). If you prefer curly quotes (‘’ “”), please change the entire book for consistency. (See Style guide)—M-le-mot-dit (talk) 09:46, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ah, I understand now, M-le-mot-dit. I will stay with straight quotes then! Thank you.--FeralOink (talk) 10:03, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wordsworth's Poems (1815), in 2 volumes

[edit]

Hi, I see that you are trying to do work on an earlier edition of this work (1807), but the redirects you have implemented have broken the existing version. Can you please undo them and set up the index page for the 1807 edition. Thanks, Chrisguise (talk) 09:47, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Chrisguise, I responded on your talk page.--FeralOink (talk) 23:24, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
