Noli me Tangere

[edit]

I want to add the original Spanish version of Jose Rizal of Noli me Tangere (published 1887) in Wikisource. Rizal died in 1896. I also wanted to write side-by-side the English version published by Charles Derbyshire written in 1912. Is it okay with Wikisource's copyright policy? Thanks, JL 09 (talk) 12:03, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The works would seem to in the public domain and available to be presented at WikiSource. The Spanish work should be put at esWS and obviously the English here. If you have scans of the works, they should be uploaded to Commons:. Best place for help is WS:S as we are a smaller community and watch that page.-- billinghurst (talk) 12:24, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I'll mind to consider adding the text on Spanish Wikisource..--JL 09 (talk) 12:25, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Sweet. Meant to say that once they are both up, one of our developers has a tool where the interwiki link can put the two side by side, so we can get there when able. -- billinghurst (talk) 12:28, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that is very good. Thanks for your help. --JL 09 (talk) 12:34, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
