Licenses required for all works

[edit]

Hi. We require all works to have a licence of the reproduced works copyright or its release into the public domain. Please see Wikisource:Licensing. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:20, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am having to delete some of the works that you have uploaded as they are not in the public domain ore released with a license to allow reproduction. The source sites have a clear statement of copyright and without clear evidence that the works are in the public domain then we cannot host. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:36, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
[edit]

Hi. We would not typically provide multiple links back to Wikipedia articles. Our wikilinks there should be to a bare minimum per the above linked page. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:22, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

template:header

[edit]

Please do not remove fields from the {{tl|header}} template when utilising that teplate. Best just to use it as it pops up when you create the page. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:26, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

That happened only once when the template failed to pop up, so I had to manually insert it. Johnson.Xia (talk) 15:19, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please could you note the source, and the licence for this item. Thanks. Ideally you should include a portal link. -- Beardo (talk) 04:32, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Source and license

[edit]

Please remember that all texts hosted on Wikisource must identify their source, and all such texts must also be released under a suitable license, with template displayed on the page.

Texts lacking a source / license may be deleted for failing to comply. --EncycloPetey (talk) 00:14, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
