Chapter titles

[edit]

Hi, our general style for Chapter titles is to use Arabic numerals in preference to Roman. So Chapter 3 rather than Chapter III. I'll move the ones you've done so far for The Man in the Brown Suit. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 03:29, 29 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Well. First, sorry. I didn't know. Secondly, thanks for your help. Mnafisalmukhdi1 (talk) 03:37, 29 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Beeswaxcandle: How about the volume title? Since I'm now interested in The International Journal of Psycho-Analysis. I'm afraid if doing it wrong. Mnafisalmukhdi1 (talk) 12:27, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
We don't have specific guidance for this. However, I use Arabic for consistency with the Chapter title guideline when starting new works. See Transactions and Proceedings of the New Zealand Institute as a recent example. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 17:52, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Transclusion Formatting

[edit]

Hi! Thank you for all your wonderful help transcluding texts and formatting The Dial. I wanted to leave you two suggestions on transclusions. First, the {{#tag:pages}} is considered obsolete and should not be used. Instead, the preferred format is <pages index="" from= to />, see Help:Transclusion or Help:Beginner's guide to transclusion. Second, images should not be excluded from transclusion as you did in Costume: Fanciful, Historical, and Theatrical/Chapter 1. Blank Pages can be excluded, but even this is not even strictly necessary. Thank you for all your help and I hope that you're enjoying Wikisource.
