[edit]hi, I needed to stop the match&split bot for a dozen of minutes. — Phe 00:08, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes
[edit]Hi. Looking at recent changes, I saw your work on-going. Then, I browsed a little for curiosity. I know it is a matter of personal preference, but I wanted anyhow to give a few feedbacks. I find it a bit confusing to follow when pages are hidden in the Index page. I guess it will be the same for those validating the work. I think also the cover page should be reproduced (Page 9) and included in the main page of the Namespace, as well as illustrations in the text. Bye --Mpaa (talk) 21:18, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Plus a little feedback about our preference for images. While it may sound a little counter intuitive, however, we do "proofread" images, and reproduce the visible text, rather than mark as "no text", it adds a little clarity the process and helps to compile the pages for transclusion. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:06, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks for your feedback. Paolo81 (talk) 09:10, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your feedback. I see your point and agree, so I included all pages from the djvu in the Index page. For what concerns cover in the main page and illustrations in the text, I had in mind to do that, but then went for a holiday and didn't have time :-) Now I'm back and I'll get to it. Bot errors
[edit]Fixed now, the bot didn't like "'" in djvu name. I needed to match&split Extract from Captain Stormfield's Visit to Heaven/Chapter II to test it. — Phe 01:12, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
- Well, the split on Extract from Captain Stormfield's Visit to Heaven/Chapter II didn't work properly: the links for pages between 63 and 67 are all messed up and overlapped, and the highlight doesn't match the right regions of text. I tried to undo and redo the split myself but got the same result. What happened? It's odd; on Chapter I everything went smoothly. — Paolo81 (talk) 21:00, 23 September 2011 (UTC)
- I saw your message on my talk today, I had some trouble with the page as you describe it but after reloading the page I no longer see any trouble. Looking at some page like Page:1909. Extract from Captain Stormfield's Visit to Heaven.djvu/77 and it's ok too. — Phe 22:42, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- I tried emptying the cache without luck, but when I open it with Firefox (instead of Safari) it appear as it should. Thanks for your help and feedback. --Paolo81 (talk) 20:08, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
