- We all did newbs at one point, and I think that you will find us a friendly and helpful lot, with a community neither too big nor too small. Wikisource:Scriptorium is our choice place for chat, and our approach is "the word from the book rules, it is the word of the author; formatting is nice too, however, that is the typographer" Good luck, and if you have special interests then let us know, we always like new ideas and new enthusiasm. — billinghurst sDrewth 08:36, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Zooming in and out on Pages
[edit]Hi, I've just noticed your question about how to enlarge the scanned image. In the tool bar that you get when you edit a page in the Page: namespace there should be three buttons with images of a magnifying glass. The one with a green + will zoom in a little. Just click it a few times until you get the size you need. The red - will zoom out and the one with no marks on it will reset back to the default zoom. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 23:35, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
" I would like to validate these pages but the print on the original page is too small to read. How do I expand it? Using "Ctrl+" expands print in the editing window, not the original text image. Cheers! Shir-El too 19:09, 19 March 2014 (UTC) "
There is a second option. You widen the image which will be shown above all text by clicking on an image in that editor's bar. This image has two rows of very short lines that I can't duplicate here. You will see them when you start to edit a page. They look something like this except 2 rows and the two rows are closer to each other. Happy Trails, —Maury (talk) 07:50, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
