Grágás

[edit]

This work is not in English, and so cannot be hosted on the English Wikisource. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:30, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

What about the Treaty of Kiel? It may be that I am not understanding the purpose of this project. I thought that works of significant cultural value could be included even if they were not in the project's language. Stefán Örvar Sigmundsson (talk) 02:40, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
That treaty also would not be hosted here; it should reside on the French Wikisource since it's written in French. Each Wikisource presents works in a specific language, whether originally in that language or translated into that language. All works here are in English (including Old English and Scots), but not French, Norse, Greek, or other languages. French works are hosted on French Wikisource, Greek on Greek Wikisource. I'm not certain where Old Norse is housed, but probably at either the Icelandic or Norwegian Wikisource. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:47, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
My apologies. Go ahead and delete it. I do not have any administrative rights here. Stefán Örvar Sigmundsson (talk) 04:21, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Done. --EncycloPetey (talk) 04:28, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps you should also delete the French treaty as well. Stefán Örvar Sigmundsson (talk) 21:36, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Certainly. Sorry that we didn't catch that sooner and let you know. --EncycloPetey (talk) 22:36, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
