Sourcing of texts

[edit]

Hi, all uploaded texts here need to have a verifiable source. The preferred way to do this is to proofread a file in the Index: namespace and transclude to text into the Mainspace. An acceptable alternative is to place a {{Textinfo}} template on the work's Talk page and, as an absolute minimum, complete the Source field. Once you've done that with the uploaded texts you've already contributed, please remove the {{No source}} template that I've added to them. Many thanks, Beeswaxcandle (talk) 22:19, 9 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Beeswaxcandle: Thanks for letting me know about the alternatives to the manual proofreading. I started doing that, but the thing is that I have access to OCR text, so it's just unnecessarily laborious. I will go through my various pages and add an alternative, publicly available source though. Whatamwhatam (talk)
