Walerian Krasiński

[edit]

If we have more than one author named "Walerian Krasiński", then we use dates to disambiguation. But if there is only one, then the dates are not necessary. Do you anticipate that we will have several Author pages by that name? --EncycloPetey (talk) 01:21, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Wikidata items

[edit]

Each translation will need a separate data item on Wikidata. An English translation will have different publication data than a Russian or a French translation. Each will have its own language, date of publication, translator, etc., so each must have a separate data item. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:07, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

The exception is the English "translations" page. Since this is a listing of translations, it can reside at the primary data item for the work, but each translation that is listed will need its own data item. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:10, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please explain your edit to Index:A Comprehensive History of India Vol 1.djvu , given that the Archive.org attributes the later dated author..ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 15:14, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
