SCHILLER, Rev. Karl Emil (KYOTO), Pastor and Missionary; b. Oct. 16, 1895, at Husum, Schleswig, Germany; m. April, 1898. Educ.: Bonn and Berlin Universities, Germany. Was for several years pastor at Siegburg and Terbelenburg, Germany, and teacher at Middle School of latter city; came out to Japan as Missionary of General Evangelical Protestant Missionary Society of Berlin, 1S95; worked the years in Tokyo before coining to Kyoto.
