2009-02 admin
Hello, I'm an administrator at the Commons and the English Wikipedia and I've been contributing here off and on as well since August 2007. I've added texts such as How the Other Half Lives and Peter and Wendy, helped improve the header template, and created a gadget to make adding new texts easier. I'd like to have administrator access to be able to help out with miscellaneous chores. For example, I could help maintain the templates and my gadget directly. I would also have access to the subpage move tool to easily fix problems with page names. —Remember the dot (talk) 04:19, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

- De-bit until the alien kidnappers return them, no obvious need for the admin bit — billinghurst sDrewth 10:59, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- Remove. His Wikipedia user page says "Just so you know, I will be leaving in September 2009 to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.... See you in 2011!" Hesperian 11:02, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- Remove for inactivity, at least until he's back. —Spangineerwp (háblame) 13:08, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- Agree with the above summation. The user is inactive for the next year, I see no reason why they'd need the admin bit until they return. Jude (talk) 01:24, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
- Agree, remove the tools per standing inactive policy. Welcome them back and return the tools when they come back. Jeepday (talk) 12:00, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Remove, unfortunately, as inactive. -- Cirt (talk) 04:08, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Closed. It's been more than a month, I doubt we'll get much more discussion on this. I'm forwarding this to Meta for further action.—Zhaladshar (Talk) 13:35, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
