@Erasmo Barresi: Is there a way to make this list update itself with a little variety? AdamBMorgan worked on it after you created it, but he's not active now. I'm not a technical person. I have no idea, technically, how to make this list present a few random books to work on in each category. I just thought having the list present various book titles might help improve participation in Wikisource. That's why I'm asking. Outlier59 (talk) 01:49, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

@Outlier59: I cannot think of any automatic way to make the list vary in the way you describe. We could create a list of, say, all the books that need to be validated and then make the community portal pick a random item from that list; but the list would still need to be updated manually or by bot from time to time, in order to remove the books that have been validated in the meanwhile.--Erasmo Barresi (talk) 09:10, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
