Rem Cashow (1768-1816) in the A Documentary History of Het (the) Nederdeutsche Gemeente. Abraham Cashow (1814-1854) would go by the name "Abraham Kershaw" and he died while aboard a ship heading to San Francisco during the later days of the California gold rush.
