Poetic format
[edit]The poetic passages in the original are set aesthetically according to the page width. In the Wikisource edition, which is electronic, a left-hand margin of 5em is usually used, unless the section is either unusually narrow (in which case the margin is increased slightly) or unusually wide (in which case the margin is slightly reduced). As a result the offset from the margin is not always identical to the original, but this preserves the intended aesthetic of the publisher. --EncycloPetey (talk) 19:22, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
