Jailed as Deserter.

After police investigation disclosed he was an alleged deserter from the United States Army, Arthur Freudenberg, 19, of 309 Central Avenue, was removed to the city prison, pending the arrival of military authorities, who were to take him into custody. Police say they discovered Freudenberg in an inebriated condition at 94 North Street last night.
