Arthur Oscar Freudenberg II (1929-?) was born in 1929 to Eugene Freudenberg (1900-1956) and Florence Catherine Skinner (1901-1986). He was named after his uncle, Arthur Oscar Freudenberg

Starting a fight in a tavern. "… Arthur Freudenberg, 33, of 138 Cottage St., a chauffeur, was charged by Dominick Kuszkowski of 133 Mercer St., a bartender in a tavern at 313 Grove St., Jersey City, with having started a fight in the tavern. He said he had put up his hands in self defense when a girl companion started to hit him. He said other patrons misinterpreted the gesture as an attempt to strike the girl, and the fight followed. Brenner gave him a suspended 90-day sentence."
Driving under the influence. "Charged with drunken driving, Arthur Freudenberg, 33, of 138 Cottage Street, Jersey City, awaits arraignment January 4 in Hudson County District Court. He was arrested early yesterday after his auto allegedly struck a parked car in front of 1848 Hudson Boulevard, Jersey City, driving it onto the sidewalk and bending two parking meters."
Deserting the United States Army. "After police investigation disclosed he was an alleged deserter from the United States Army, Arthur Freudenberg, 19, of 309 Central Avenue, was removed to the city prison, pending the arrival of military authorities, who were to take him into custody. Police say they discovered Freudenberg in an inebriated condition at 94 North Street last night."
Enlisting in the United States Army. "A new record was established at the local army recruiting offices in the Main Post Office building, Montgomery Street, and 40 Journal Square, this past week when 16 17-year-old youngsters enlisted in the new regular army for their first 'hitch.' The 16, sworn in by Major Arnold D. Blair, are: … Arthur Oscar Freudenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Freudenberg, 309 Central Avenue."
