REMARKS: The lighting, plumbing, construction of offices and other necessary improvements to this warehouse will be completed by 20 August 1944. The segregation of stores has begun.

Type of Construction -

Personnel: 2 enlisted men.

REMARKS: (1) One lot adjoining Will's Warehouse consisting of 24,807 sq. ft. Too small to handle incoming stores and handicaps operation accordingly. All metals, pipes, steel plate, etc., are stored here. (2) Wigmores - Total 3,000 sq. ft. Used for storing fuel oil drums. Lot is too small to handle large amount of stores. (3) One lot leased from Lockes Limited consisting of 9,282 sq. ft. Too small to be of much value. (4) One lot adjoining Harpers Warehouse consisting of 2,000 sq. ft. Used for overflow of material at Harpers Warehouse. (5) Fremantle Railway Yard. Consists of 20,000 sq. ft. No lease. (6) Tarpot lot adjoining warehouse, consisting of 73,888 sq. ft. Used for storing full and empty oil drums. Operations limited due to lack of space and personnel. (7) Parking lot - 20,500 sq. ft. Used for stowing NSD automotive equipment. (8) Carpenter Shop - lot adjacent to - 6,520 sq. ft. Use for lumber and dunnage stowage.
