He died in possession of the treasurer- ship 29th May 1392, and was buried in York cathe- dral-^^. His will was proved 26th March T393. John de Neweton was installed 30th March 1393^^. He presented Thomas Gorton to the office of sub- treasurer 30th Oct. 14043s. His will was proved 13th July 1414. John Haxby died possessed of it 21st Jan. 1413-4, and was buried in York cathedral. Richard Pyttes was admitted in 1414. His will was proved i8th Sept. 1415. John Nottingham was admitted 17th Aug. 1415. He died 20th Dec. 1418-^9. His will was proved 24th Jan. 1418—19. Thomas Haxey was collated in 141 8. He died 25th Jan. 1424-5^°. His will, dated 29th Feb. 1423-4, was proved 12 th March 1424-5. Robert Gilbert was appointed by the King 16th July 1425^^, and admitted nth Aug. 1425, loco Thomas Haxey. Robert Wolvedon was admitted in 1426. His will, dated 4th Sept. 1432, was proved on the 20th of the same month. John Bermyngham was collated in 1432, vice Wolve- don. He presented John A pulton to the subtreasurer- ship in Dec. 1432.
