Prebendaries of this stall since the settlement hy queen Elizabeth. Richard Reeve or Ryve, M.A., was appointed the first in this stall by the Queen's patent, dated 21st June 1560^'. He died in 1594. Cuthbert Bellott, M.A., appointed 30th April and installed 9th May 1594. He became archdeacon of Chester. Ob. 1620. Robert Newell, S.T.P., archdeacon of BucHngham^ installed 14th April 1620. TENTH STALL. John Malverne was appointed the first in this stall, 17th Dec. 1540. Edmund Weston, installed before 5th Aug. 1542. Thomas Wood, installed 12th May 1554. Prebendaries of this stall since the settlement by queen Elizaheth. William Downeham, M.A., was appointed the first in this stall by the Queen's patent, dated 21st June Edmund Freak or Freke, S.T.P., was installed 23rd Sept. 1564. He became bishop of Rochester. John Yonc; or Younge, S.T.P., was installed 26th April 1572, and in 1578 was made bishop of Rochester, but held this stall in commendam with it to his death, which happened loth April 1605, rctat. 71. Ho was buried at Bromley in Kent.
