See SGeo, Fairs, and all other Places where folemn Aflembly of the People (hall be, fo that none by Ignorance (nail excufe him, that every Country from henceforth be fo kept, that immediately after Felonies and Rob- beries done, frefh Suit be made from Town to Town, and from Country to Country, (3) and Inqueft, if Need be, (hall be alfo taken in the Towns by him which is Sovereign of the Town, and after in Hun- dreds, Franchifes, and in the County, and fometime in two, three, or four Counties, in cafe when Fe- lonies fhall be done in the Marches of the Counties, fo that the Offenders may be attainted. (4) And if the Country do not anfwer of fuch Offenders, the Pain fhall be fuch, that every Country, that is to fay, the People dwelling in the Country, fhall anfwer of the Robberies done, and of the Damages; (?) fo that all the Hundred where the Robbery fhall be done, or the Franchifes which be within the Precin£t of the fame Hundred, fhall anfwer of the Robbery done ; (6) and if the Robbery be done in the Divifion of two Hundreds, both Hundreds fhall anfwer together with the Franchifes.
