no more ſpirit come off, then this Spirit will ſerve for the making of any Spirits out of vegetables: but if thou wouldeſt have it ſtronger diſtill it again, and half will remain behind as an inſipid flegme: and it thou wouldeſt have it yet ſtronger, diſtill it again, for every Diſtillation will leave behind one moity of flegme or thereabouts; So ſhalt thou have a moſt pure and ſtrong Spirit of wine.
- Sheweth the bottome which ought to be of Copper.
- The head.
- The barrell filled with cold water to refrigerate and condenſate the water and oyle that run through the pipe or worme that is put through it.
- A pipe of braſſe or pewter, or rather a Worme of Tin running through the barrell.
- The Alembick ſet in the furnace with the fire under it.
