273 CHAP. 256.-An Act To authorize the Public Health Service to pro vide medical service in the Federal prisons . Be it en act ed by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the Unit ed St ates o f A meric a in Congr ess a ssemb led, That hereafter, Ice . Public Health serv- authorized medical relief under the Department of Justice in Federal Details from, for penal and correctional institutions shall be supervised and furnished mad p ica l ns cico in Fed- by personnel of the Public Health Service, and upon request of the Post, p. 381. Attorney General, the Secretary of the Treasury shall detail regular and reserve commissioned officers of the Public Health Service, pharmacists, acting assistant surgeons, and other employees of the Public Health Service to the Department of Justice for the purpose of supervising and furnishing medical, psychiatric, and other tech- nical and scientific services to the Federal penal and correctional institutions . SEC . 2. The compensation, allowances, and expenses of the per- to aspe nsat io of de- sonnel so detailed may be paid from applicable appropriations of the Public Health Service in accordance with the law and regulations governing the personnel of the Public He alth Service, such appro- priations to be reimbursed from applicable appropriations of the Department of Justice ; or the Attorney General is hereby authorized to make allotments of funds and transfer of credit to the Public Health Service in such amounts as are available and necessary, which funds shall be available for payment of compensation, allowances, and expenses o f personnel s o detailed, i n accordance w ith the law and regulations governing the personnel of the Public Health Service . H10474 .] Sta te Hi gh way Commission to con st ruc t, maintain, and ope ra te a free highway [Public, No . 204.] bridge across the White River at or near Sylamore, Arkansas . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the con sent of Congress is hereby granted to the Arkansas State Highway Com- mission to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the White River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Sylamore, Arkansas, in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled "An Act to regu- late the construction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906 .
