Her children contract polio. "Polio almost prevented these three youngsters from entering their pet pup, Snuffy, in the Rotary Club mutt show Saturday. Teddy, John and Ruth Lindauer, children of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lindauer of 4620 North 10th street, all were stricken with the disease in September. Complete recovery of all of them makes it possible for them to enter Snuffy in competition for the best wagon puller."
Her children contract polio. "The polio toll in Maricopa county rose to today as three more infantile paralysis victims were admitted St. Monica's hospital. Hospital officials said none of new arrivals was in serious condition. The 19 victims include 13 children and six adults. Three of children are from, the same family. They are John, Thayer and Ruth Lindauer, children of Mr. and John Lindauer of Phoenix."
