[edit]U.S. Centric
[edit]The categorization setup seems too U.S. centric. Have other English speaking countries adopted the Library of Congress system? If so, there may be some justification for using an adaptation of it. But maybe there is a more even-handed system that could be adapted? Bob Burkhardt (talk) 01:06, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
- It is very US centric. However, we didn't find any other system when we were initially discussing this. The Dewey Decimal system is the most widely used but it is under copyright. Other national libraries may have their own systems too but they have not released them, as far as I know, and are likely to be just as biased in their own ways. (Personally, I would prefer we didn't change at this stage; everything is set up for the LOC system.) - AdamBMorgan (talk) 09:41, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
Redlinked portals
[edit]I think that we can never be able to fill in some of the redlinked portals, specifically those of Class D (General and Old World History) and Class P (Language and Literature) because of lack of public domain texts. For example the redlinked Subclasses "History of Malta", "History of Andorra", "History of Monaco", "History of Liechtenstein" etc. I for one, never heard the name of some of those countries! Request:Remove id links
[edit]Could anyone remove the [[id:Wikisource:Karya]] at the bottom? It's a mistake as in the link should only linked with Wikisource:Works and not with this page. Thank you. Mbee-wiki (talk) 13:55, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
