To-morrow

Katsura Shimizu

Mother—
Let’s don’t cry but go to sleep.
For with joy we await
Father’s return on a red boat to-morrow.

Mother—
Let’s don’t cry but go to sleep.
For, in the morn, to the shore we’ll go
And wait for the returning boat.

Mother—
Let’s don’t cry but go to sleep.
For the gift from the red, red boat
Will be that father’s smiling face.
